Ryan Fox claimed the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship ands win by one at St. Andrews. Plus the SuperFores results are in!
Ryan Fox claimed the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship with a one shot lead over Alex Noren and Callum Shinkwin.
The New Zealander said he felt his good friend Shane Warnes presence out on the course, saying he brought him a bit of good luck for sure.
Fox was 4 shots back at the start of the day to Richard Mansell but a 4 under par 68 sealed the deal to win the tournament on -15. He was being chased down by some pretty notable names in Rory Mcilroy, Tyrrell Hatton and Alex Noren, conceding he had hit some poor shots in his final stretch of holes it was still enough to top the pack.
The tournament was a great one to watch from the armchair as the weather was less than favourable, especially on Friday with persistent rain and strong winds causing havoc for the players and their caddies, however, the celebrities and family members playing with the pros seemed to enjoy it regardless.
What did Fox use to get the job done?
