Wilson Staff has a long history in golf, all the way back to 1915 making golf balls under a different company name. Since becoming the Wilson Sporting Goods company they are probably most well known for NFL and ball sport manufacturers.
Wilson Staff golf clubs and products are probably more aimed at the game improvement market and not alongside the premium brands, however, don't let that make you believe they lack quality as tests would prove otherwise. They can also boast a Major win with their premium irons in the 2019 US Open at Pebble Beach from staff player Gary Woodland.
Wilson Staff Blades are definitely up there with the most beautiful irons to grace a golf course and are a definite head-turner in any pro shop, However, their main focus tends to be the lower end of the market and producing clubs that enhance forgiveness and produce distance. It never fails to surprise us when we see fittings and the Wilson staff clubs go in the mix as the least favourite, yet end up in the bag.
Wilson have a full range of clubs available, their wedges are particularly good and the new Wilson Staff High Toe Wedge looks like it will be a popular choice.
Wilson Launchpad Drivers and Fairway Woods compliment the iron range but you won't find them in many low handicapper golf bags, this seems to be a similar pattern with their golf balls, however, they are more than capable out on the course.
Wilson also produces a great women's golf range with D9 Driver, woods and iron sets available.
