PAYNTR are a specialist footwear company founded by former English pro cricketer David Paynter. Paynter was frustrated at the footwear available to cricket players, and believed there was a gap in the market for an improved product. The plan was to design a running style shoe suitable for cricket at every level, with comfort and style at the forefront of the thinking. Paynter quickly got investors involved, and England legend Michael Vaughan was one who seen the potential.
As well as footwear for cricket, PAYNTR now offer a golf footwear range that has shown early promise, with the likes of Golf Monthly already giving them a four and a half star rating in a recent review. Expertise in golf footwear was gained in the recruitment of former Under Armour employees Mike Forcey and Mike Glancey, and what came was the ‘X001 F’ golf shoe range. This spikeless shoe is available in 3 colours, and possesses a sporty appearance with great grip and stability suitable for any conditions.
