Colin Montgomerie is a Scottish professional golfer with one of the most decorated and impressive cv’s you’ll ever see in the game. Monty enjoyed heaps of success as an amateur golfer including wins in the Scottish Amateur Championship and Scottish Matchplay Championship, before turning pro in 1988 aged 25. Early wins in his career catapulted him to the upper echelons of the European game, and in 1991 he was rewarded with a first call up to the European Ryder Cup Team. He went on to represent Europe 8 times, and is regarded as one of the greatest Ryder Cup players ever, having never been defeated in a singles match. 

 

Today, whilst still competing on the professional circuit, Monty is involved in everything when it comes to golf. Course design, television work, and his own line of equipment are only a handful of the things he gets up to.
