Cleveland Golf and Roger Cleveland in particular have a lot to be thanked for when it comes to the modern day golf clubs we see and use today. Formed in 1979, Cleveland was initially known as ‘Cleveland Classics’ and made replicas of classic golf clubs.

Cleveland have never been shy in pushing the limits with their golf clubs, and this has been most prevalent with their wedges over the years. The company were the first to sell wedges with multiple bounce options, as the significance of being custom fitted for clubs grew more important. Cleveland were also the first manufacturer to release a 460cc headed driver, which was the ‘Launcher’ in 2003.
